Terms of Use & Medical Disclaimer

Please read this first
Cuyar is not medical care and does not give medical advice. It is a gentle
movement companion. It cannot examine you, diagnose anything, or know your medical history.
Nothing in the app — including anything the coach says — should be treated as advice from a
doctor, nurse or physiotherapist.
Talk to your doctor before you start
Please check with your doctor before beginning Cuyar or any new exercise, especially if you:
- have a heart condition, high blood pressure, or chest pain
- get dizzy, lightheaded, or have fallen recently
- have had surgery, a fracture, or an injury that is still healing
- have osteoporosis, joint problems, or trouble with balance
- are pregnant, or are recovering from an illness
- take medicine that affects your balance, blood pressure or heart rate
Stop right away if something feels wrong
Stop moving and rest if you feel pain, chest pain or pressure, shortness of breath, dizziness,
faintness, nausea, or anything that worries you.
If it feels serious — chest pain, trouble breathing, a bad fall, weakness on one side,
or slurred speech — call your local emergency number straight away. Cuyar cannot call
for help and cannot monitor you.
About the movements
Cuyar's movements are gentle, everyday activities of the kind commonly used to support strength,
balance and mobility in older adults. They are offered in seated, supported and standing
versions so you can pick what suits you.
Clinical review is still in progress
We want to be straightforward with you: the movement library has not yet been reviewed
by a qualified physiotherapist or geriatric specialist. That review is something we are
arranging, and the app marks the affected illustrations while it is pending. Until it is
finished, please treat Cuyar as a friendly companion rather than a prescribed programme, and
check with your own doctor or physiotherapist about what is right for you.
Cuyar may help you move more often and feel steadier. It cannot promise to prevent falls,
injury or illness, and we make no such claim.
Move within your own limits
You know your body best. Only do what feels safe today. Use a sturdy chair or a wall for
support, keep the floor clear, wear shoes that grip, and have someone nearby if you are unsteady.
Go slower or stop whenever you like — the app will never push you, and a missed day is never a
problem.
About the coach
The coach's voice is a recording, and the chat replies are written by an automated AI service.
The coach is not a person and not a clinician. It cannot diagnose you, tell you
whether a movement is safe for a medical condition, or advise you about medicine. If you ask
about those, it will point you to your doctor — please follow that advice.
Automated replies can be wrong. Use your own judgement, and never rely on the coach in an
emergency. Please don't type personal or medical details into the chat — see our
Privacy Policy for where those messages go.
Using Cuyar
You may use Cuyar for your own personal, non-commercial wellbeing. Please don't misuse it: no
attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, and no using it in a way that
breaks the law or puts someone at risk.
Cuyar is provided free of charge and "as is", without warranties of any kind.
We cannot guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Limits of our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from
your use of Cuyar — including from following a movement, a suggestion, or anything the coach
says. You take part in physical activity at your own risk. Nothing here limits any liability that
cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Your content and ours

Términos de uso y aviso médico
Última actualización: 19 de julio de 2026
Por favor, lea esto primero
Cuyar no es atención médica y no da consejos médicos. Es un acompañante de
movimiento suave.
caídas, lesiones o enfermedades, y no hacemos esa promesa.
